Back in 2013 I was diagnosed with Alpha-gal (meat allergy) which was caused by a tick bite. It made me allergic to beef, pork, lamb….anything with a hoof. So I looked for alternatives and ground turkey was one of them. I really missed a good burger and when I came upon this recipe I figured I would try it. OH SO YUMMY!
The Blue Cheese gives it a great taste and binds it as well. Instead of Worcestershire I add Bold and Spicy A1. We have tried cooking them on the grill but they tend to fall apart so we resorted to our cast iron. I love my cast iron and use it almost exclusively. I have a 12″ one and it does the trick every time! Get yourself one today if you don’t have one….you won’t regret it.
