tie-die-sneakers

Looking for a fun, messy, and wearable craft? This one is it! I found some white Keds at Goodwill for $4.99 and used my 20% off coupon. They were a bit stained but it didn’t make a difference because I was going to go right over them with the dye. I love these Tie Dye kits! (I tend to get them from Michael’s with a 50% off coupon. Helps keep the cost down).

The directions from the Pinterest Link are pretty easy but I used some plastic gloves and just put the dye on the shoe and spread it around with my finger. I did prep before hand and put blue painters tape on the side of the sole of the shoe to keep the dye off of it. I let them sit for a day in a plastic bag and then in the dryer they went to set it.

I have gotten numerous compliments on them. Everyone just loves how FUN they are. Who doesn’t love tie-dye!
